Located in Saint-Herblain 44 - Loire-Atlantique, the Nantes-Vigneux Golf Club covers 56 hectares. It is an 18-hole Par 72 of 5851 meters. Created in 1921, it was the first golf course in the Nantes region. Dogs are allowed on the course. The greens are manicured with fairways lined with centuries-old trees and fairways of pine and cedar trees.
It was built by the architect Franck Pennink. Crossed by the Cens River, this course does not require a drive, but precision in the face-offs is necessary. It is important to be well placed for green attacks, which are usually small and defended by bunkers. They are very fast in season.
The driving range has 17 seats and 11 seats. The Vigneux golf course has an Academy with several groups of levels. Competitions are organised as part of many partnerships such as the Pro-Am in Nantes.
To be noted: the graceful presence of the extraordinary EXPLANAR, a simple and formidable educational tool to memorize your swing plan on a daily basis!! (see photos)
The clubhouse has a large proshop and offers wifi. It was renovated in 2014. It has a restaurant open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday from 12 noon to 2.30 pm. The bar is non-stop in season with a non-stop snack service. The restaurant offers a green fee and meal formula. Not to be missed, on the last Friday of the month, it offers the unmissable meeting place for gourmets, the Lobster menu in order to best mix the finest gastronomy with your progress in golf.
The calendar of competitions at Golf de Nantes is unique in Pays de la Loire thanks to its many partners. Some events are now unmissable, such as the Nantes Pro-Am, the Youth Pro-Am and the Inter Company Trophy.
