The Golf des Sables d'Olonne *** Golfstars is located in Olonne-sur-Mer, 85 - Vendée, in the naturally hilly setting of the Vendée bocage. Open since 1991, it is an 18-hole Par 72 of 6063 meters.

Designed by architect Bruno Parpoil, the course is close to the coast. It is characterized by two distinct parts: a high area including holes 1 to 9 where long drives are necessary with narrow fairways, and a low area with holes 10 to 18, more technical with many water features. Thus, on half of the holes of the return, four water obstacles are ready to accommodate the stray balls.

It can be suitable for players of all levels. A bonus, the panorama is exceptional with as a backdrop the site of the Château de la Pierre Levée, historical monument of the eighteenth century and its many menhirs.

The training area is composed of a driving range of 21 stations including 6 covered, where a panoramic view of the coastal villages will boost your training. The area is also equipped with a double-board putting green, two pitching greens, a practice bunker and a 3-hole school course. Competitions and grand prizes are organized throughout the year.

The clubhouse offers a pro shop, a non-stop bar in season and catering. In a cozy atmosphere, you can enjoy a meal from 12:00 to 14:30. And if you feel like making the trip in spring, you will discover with delight the flowering of apple and pear trees, planted along the fairways.
