The Château d'Augerville Golf & Spa Resort 5* offers a 4* Golfstars golf course. It is located less than 1 hour and 30 minutes from Paris. On the edge of the Forest of Fontainebleau, it is an 18-hole par 72 course of 6294 meters, built on 100 hectares in a green setting.
Opened in 1995 in Augerville-la-Rivière (45-Loiret), by the architect Olivier Dongradi, Château d'Augerville Golf and Spa Resort 5* is a varied and hilly course, incorporating water features, narrow fairways, overhanging tees and demanding greens. The experienced amateur and the beginner will enjoy playing and replaying the subtle difficulties of this course.
The driving range is of high quality with 30 berths, 10 of which are covered, as well as a chipping-green and a putting-green of 1800 m2. Access to the training areas is open from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. The teachers provide individual and group lessons, improvement or preparation for competition. The pro-shop is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday to Sunday.
On site, in the park, there is a 5* hotel, with 40 rooms, 12 of which are in the castle, listed as a Historic Monument, and the outbuildings. 2 restaurants, the Atelier, offering brasserie cuisine and the Jacques Coeur with gastronomic dishes, are the essential stops after a tour with the Spa area and the Chocolate Factory.
Everything has been done and thought out so that the pleasure of golf and that of Epicurus blend wonderfully in a setting where crowned heads and the most prestigious artists have stayed such as Louis XI, Henri IV, Louis XIII, Delacroix, Liszt, Chateaubriand or Musset.
Considered one of the 10 most challenging golf courses in France, the Golf du Château d'Augerville is also the spot where you have to be to admire a sunset, forgetting the worries of the world.
