The Public Golf of Cabourg (14 - Calvados) is a 9-hole, Par 36 of 2942 meters. Open since 1988, under the impetus of the former mayor of Cabourg, the golf course is located in the Bas Cabourg on the Côte Fleurie, at the southern entrance of the seaside resort.

Created by the French architect Olivier Brizon, the course offers a flat layout, overlooking former marshes, now drained. But it remains quite technical with two Par 5s, which is quite rare for a 9-hole: hole 2 with several water hazards, it is one of the most difficult challenges of the course. And hole 7, long and narrow, it requires a lot of skill on the first three shots.

Notably, there is no need to book the courses, departures are made in order of arrival of the players. In addition, dogs are allowed on the grounds, but kept on a leash. The club offers trolley and cart rentals.

The training area: 30 positions at the driving range including 10 covered, small game area, putting green, compact 3-hole course and grass tees. The public Golf of Cabourg benefits from the teaching of the Playing Golf Academy with many advanced courses. Many competitions, meetings and outings are organized by the Sports Association.

The clubhouse is spacious and modern, offering bar and fast food. The wooden terrace facing south will allow moments of conviviality around a soft to comment your best shot in this atmosphere so characteristic of small golf courses.
