Golf Parc Robert Hersant 4**** is an 18-hole golf course (par 72) spanning 6,301 meters, open since 1995 in La Chaussée d'Ivry (28 - Eure-et-Loire), west of Paris. The course is adorned with rare tree species, and you can play by golf cart (€10 per person) or on foot, thanks to the paths created within the park. The golf course was designed as a landscaped park by Robert Hersant, featuring a 15,000-tree arboretum with many rare species.
Golf Stars Tip: Play it year-round, but absolutely in the fall to enjoy the vibrant colors that the course takes on (late September to mid-November during high season rates).

A specialist in grandeur, the botany enthusiast envisioned his golf course as a magnificent garden with a thousand species. Robert Hersant brought nearly 15,000 trees to his land to create a true arboretum filled with species from all over the world: Oregon Sequoias, Japanese Ginkgo Biloba, Virginia Tulip Trees, Firs, Beeches, and more.
An avid traveler and having played on numerous fairways across the globe, Robert Hersant drew inspiration from his journeys. The layout of Golf Parc is largely inspired by “American-style” courses, where water features and target greens abound. This unique design, coupled with the extraordinary environment, gives the course its distinctive charm. This identity took time to develop due to the demands of “the artist Hersant,” who, unsatisfied with a detail, wouldn’t hesitate to reconstruct a hole at the last minute to add a few extra meters.
Given the multitude of challenges that line the course—between forest, water features, and bunkers—a wide range of shots will be required. More than just a game, Golf Parc Robert Hersant is a superb 6-kilometer walk that becomes even more spectacular in the fall when the trees don their yellow/red/orange robes and reflect in the water.
