Cheverny Castle Golf, 3rd GolfStars, is an 18-hole Par 71 of 5946 meters. It is located 15 minutes from Blois in the centre of the Loire Castles region on 142 hectares of woods, plains and ponds.

Designed by Olivier Van Der Vynckt, around the pond of the Rousselière, the course fits perfectly on the historic lands of the Château de Cheverny in the heart of the Sologne. Ancient hunting territory, deer and deer, from sunrise to sunset, no longer have the fear of the hunter, but the curiosity of the golfer.

A world-class course, the Golf of Cheverny Castle demands skill. Hole 5 is tricky to negotiate with a dog-leg on the right uphill with a raised green, defended by 3 wide and deep bunkers. Hole 6 is the most difficult of the first loop with a double-plated green defended by two bunkers. Hole 13, watch out for the two fairway bunkers and the pond at the bottom of the green.

Dogs are allowed on the course and the greens are fast in season.

The practice is of high quality with 20 positions including 4 covered, a putting green and a chipping-green. For beginners, was created a 3-hole initiation course of 920 meters with two par 4.

The clubhouse has access for People with Reduced Mobility and a pro-shop with club rentals. The changing rooms are of high standard. The bar is non-stop in season.

The restaurant La Rousselière, named after the pond that borders it, is a relaxing and gourmet stage, especially on the terrace overlooking the course and the putting green. A "green-fee and meal" formula allows sport to be reconciled with gastronomy.

And the Château de Cheverny, having inspired Hergé, perhaps, you will see a golfer at the helm of Tintin looking for the castle of Moulinsart...
