The Bordes Golf Estate***** was established in 1987 in Saint-Laurent-Nouan, 160 kilometers from Paris (Loir-et-Cher), near the Chateau de Chambord, by Robert Von Hagge on the 560-hectare hunting estate of Baron Marcel Bich (deceased in 1994) and Mr. Sakuraï. It is currently owned by RoundShield Partners, a private equity firm, and external partners. An exceptional golf club strictly reserved for its members and their guests since 2018.

Its long main course, formerly known as Les Bordes and renamed Old Course in 2021, is a par 72 spanning 6409 meters / 7026 yards. Nearly two-thirds of the holes feature water hazards. The 10th green, the highest point, offers a 360° view.
Since May 2021: The New Course, spanning 7391 yards / 6759 meters, Europe's first course designed by architect Gil Hanse, inspired by the classic heathland style, sandy soils through heather, gorse, pines, chestnuts, birches, and ancient oaks.

In 2023, the 560-hectare private estate and its 250 members (19 different nationalities) benefit from a private golf course with 3 courses (including 2 18-hole courses and 1 10-hole course) and its Clubhouse (including a restaurant, a bar, and many experiences to enjoy within).
