Portrait of Céline Boutier

Born on November 10, 1993, in Clamart, Céline Boutier is the daughter of Christophe and Jacqueline, both of Thai origin. From a young age, she was coached by her father, a garage owner who transitioned into coaching his daughter. Representing the Paris Country Club, national teams, and Duke University (which she attended from 2012 to 2016), she had a stellar amateur career marked by prestigious trophies such as the European Individual Championship in 2012, the NCAA Team Championship in 2014, and the Women’s Amateur Championship in 2015. She also achieved the world number one ranking in the amateur standings.

Turning professional at the end of 2016 after earning her degree in psychology, she played a season on the American second division, where she won twice. By the end of 2017, she also claimed her first trophy on the European circuit, which she occasionally participated in. A member of the LPGA Tour since 2018, she has continuously improved, winning for the first time in 2019, a second time in 2021, and four times last year!

The highlight of this fantastic year came in late July when she won in Évian, in front of her home crowd, becoming the third Frenchwoman in history to win a Major. For the past five years, she has been among the world elite, participating in the Solheim Cup with Europe three times (2019, 2021, and 2023), all resulting in victories. After reaching the 3rd spot in the world rankings during the summer of 2023 (the highest ranking in French golf history), Céline Boutier was ranked 6th in the world as of July 1, 2024.

Portrait of Perrine Delacour

Born on April 5, 1994, in Laon, Perrine Delacour started playing golf at the age of 8 and honed her skills at the Golf de l’Ailette in her native Picardy before moving to the Golf de Saint-Cloud at 16. As one of the best amateur players of her generation, she notably won the British Girls in 2009 and the French International Ladies Championship in 2011, and contributed to the French team’s success at the European Girls’ Championship that same year.

After finishing high school, she turned professional and moved to the United States to try her luck at the Qualifying School. She earned a spot on the Symetra Tour, the second division, where she played for only a year before qualifying for the LPGA Tour in 2014. Despite being plagued by injuries during her early years in the elite, she lost her card at the end of 2018 and dropped back to the lower tier.

In 2019, she won twice and secured the Symetra Tour’s order of merit, thus earning her return to the LPGA Tour with distinction. Although she has yet to claim a victory on the LPGA Tour, her best finish being a 3rd place in 2020, she has become a reliable presence on the circuit.

In early June in Sweden, during one of her rare appearances on the Ladies European Tour, she clinched her first career victory on a first-division tour. As of July 1, 2024, Perrine Delacour is ranked 75th in the world.

Portrait of Matthieu Pavon

Born on November 2, 1992, in Toulouse, Matthieu Pavon is the son of footballer Michel Pavon and Béatrice Deler, a former junior French national team player and golf instructor. He grew up in the Bordeaux region in a decidedly athletic family environment. Although passionate about football, he chose to focus on golf during his teenage years, joining the teams at his home club, Golf du Médoc Resort.

Turning professional in 2014, he spent two seasons on the Alps Tour, winning twice, followed by a season on the Challenge Tour in 2016. Promoted to the European Tour in 2017, he spent nearly seven years without a win before finally breaking through in October 2023 at the Open de España, marking his 185th start among the continental elite.

The following month, during the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai, he secured a 5th place finish, earning him a PGA Tour card for the next season. As a rookie on the American circuit in 2024, he won the Farmers Insurance Open in California at the end of January, propelling him into the Top 50 in the world rankings and granting him entry into all the major tournaments.

In his first appearance at the Masters, he finished 12th, and in mid-June, he placed 5th at the US Open after playing in the final pairing of the fourth round. As of July 1, 2024, the Bordeaux native is ranked 21st in the world.

Portrait of Victor Perez

Born on September 2, 1992, in Séméac, Victor Perez is the son of Dany and Michel Perez, a former rugby player and coach, and a physical education teacher at the National School of Engineering in Tarbes. From a young age, Victor was immersed in a sporty environment. He started his golf training at the Hippodrome Golf Course in Laloubère, near Tarbes, and as a teenager, joined the Golf de Biarritz – Le Phare, where he won his first regional and national trophies.

He attended the University of New Mexico from 2011 to 2015, graduating with a degree in psychology before deciding to turn professional. Competing on the Alps Tour in 2016, he was promoted to the Challenge Tour the following year, where he secured his first victory in Spain. In his second season on the European second division, he won again in China, earning his card for the European Tour in 2019.

In his first year among the elite, he achieved a prestigious victory at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in St. Andrews, establishing himself as one of the new leaders in French golf. He won again in 2022 at the Dutch Open, and at the beginning of 2023 in Abu Dhabi in a Rolex Series event, which also earned him a PGA Tour card. In 2024, he already has two podium finishes on the American circuit, at the Puerto Rico Open and the Canadian Open. As of July 1, he is ranked 78th in the world.
